A great video from the National Theatre to help you to create choreography
Watch the whole video to see how layering movements is done and how text can be introduced.
Once you have created your choreography, you can develop it with pace to highlight and isolate moments and characters -
This could be used in our piece to exaggerate the hatters tea party
ReplyDeleteThis could be used effectively in our opening scene of preparing the Queens birthday party.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lucas
DeleteWe could use ideas from this in our piece to make the Cheshire Cat more abstract and powerful.
ReplyDeleteNice idea - how specifically?
DeleteThe use of chorus work fits in with our dramatic intentions for our piece.
ReplyDeleteLove Maud & Eve
xx
Ok, this is fairly vague, how specifically could you use an idea from this in your performance? One idea each please, thank you
DeleteUnison movement can be used when Alice is being Chased so the guards look more intimidating and powerful as a unit. Love eve
ReplyDeleteVaried speeds of chorus movement could be used within the scene where Alice is falling down the rabbit hole. This will create the idea of confusion.
